Lodging & Food

There are many motel choices on Seattle’s Eastside, but not many close to Snoqualmie Elementary School, so plan on driving or getting a ride to the start. Use the information below as a guide as there are many other options for lodging and dining.

Snoqualmie Start line. Small town with limited lodging.

Hotel America Snoqualmie, 35228 Snoqualmie Parkway, Snoqualmie, 425-363-3888. Only 3.7 miles to the start.

Salish Lodge & Spa, 6501 Railroad Avenue SE, Snoqualmie 425-888-2556
Expensive, luxury accommodations; about two miles from the start. A good option for a pampered weekend getaway, and spa services might be nice after the ultra or for your significant other.

Fall City 5-10 minutes to start. Small town with just a few options.

Fall City Inn and Fall City Roadhouse
Restaurant and hotel offering some charm and good food in a recently restored 1920’s building.

North Bend 10 – 15 minutes to start. Another small town with some newer development including an outlet mall near the freeway, with more restaurant options and a few inexpensive motels.

Coffee: There are three Starbucks (one right off I-90 near the Safeway) and a few local spots including Huxdotter Coffee

Snoqualmie Casino has several restaurants, including an Italian one, and offers many ways to blow your prize money from the race. Prize money, what prize money?

Lodging options are limited in North Bend. Edgewick Inn gets the better reviews of the few there, 14600 468th Avenue Southeast, (425) 888-9000

Issaquah 20 minutes to start. Issaquah is a little farther away but larger and offers four national chain motels.

Exit 15 Lodging
Springhill Suites, 1185 NE Maple Street, 425-427-6000 (south of I-90)
Hilton Garden Inn, 1800 NW Gilman Blvd, 425-837-3600 (south off I-90)
Motel 6, 1885 15th Place Northwest, 425-392-8405 (north off I-90)

Restaurants: Issaquah has a variety of restaurants, especially along Gilman Blvd., which parallels the south side of I-90 between exit 15 and exit 17; and in the Fred Meyer plaza, north from exit 17. Downtown (exit 17 and go south) is the popular but expensive Jak’s Steakhouse and local Rogue brew, and several other dining alternatives.

Best bets for carbo-loading is Nicolino. It sits back off Gilman Blvd.

Starbucks locations: Exit 15 south, left on Gilman, first left; or Exit 17 north to Fred Meyer plaza.
